| Abstract: | Microsatellites are simple tandemly repeated sequence motifs consisting of repeat units of 1~6bp in length.The advantages of microsatellites include high polymorphism,high abundance,codominace,selective neutrality and the possibility of antomated detection and scoring.This technique is widely used in the research of conservation genetics and population genetics. |
