| 摘 要： | 主成分分析是一种实用的多元统计分析方法，能消除样本指标之间的相关性，在保持样本主要信息的前提下，提取少量具有代表性的主成分。采用主成分分析方法对陕西（地、市）科技竞争力问题加以分析，其最终目的是落实科学发展观，促进陕西科技进步，推动陕西社会、经济的可持续发展。研究结果表明，西安科技进步综合水平得分最高，说明西安的科技发展水平在整个陕西地区是最高的。除西安、延安科技进步综合水平得分为正值外，其余8个地区的得分均为负值，说明这8个地区的科技发展水平均低于陕西省的科技整体发展水平。
