| 摘 要： | 由于汉英语言结构和哲学思考方式的差异,我国学者在汉译西方哲学中的最高范畴系词＂Being＂时产生困境,出现了＂是＂、＂有＂、＂在＂、＂存在＂、＂本体＂等多种译名,体现了系词的多元性、复杂性与神秘性,很值得深思与探讨。文章基于对英汉两种语言的同质性和异质性的分析,揭示英语系词＂Being＂的神秘所在与汉译困惑的根源;探寻通过语言分析发现世界之路,展示系词的本质属性;进而走进语言背后的哲学论域,追溯和把握系词的语言本体观。

| Abstract: | The difficulty of translating ＂being＂ into Chinese, in addition to the structural difference between the two languages, comes from the philosophical difference in the two cul- tures. There are many versions for ＂being＂, such as ＂is＂, ＂have＂, ＂exist＂,＂ ontology＂ and so on. Based on the analysis of the homogeneity and heterogeneity of English and Chinese, the complication of translating ＂being＂ is discussed in this paper with the purpose of revealing the nature of ＂being＂, that it, to understand the world through linguistic analysis. The nature of the linking verb, copula, is in the domain of philosophy, reflecting the linguistic ontology. |
