| 摘 要： | 历史上西方对中国的评价充满溢美之词,到18世纪晚期西方中国观急转直下,由赞美到蔑视。其原因:一方面,是由于近代以来西方增加了对中国的了解,窥视到中国文明自身存在的缺点,中国文化的神秘感消失。另一方面,与西方近代种族中心主义的形成和基督教文化的排他性密切相关。这两者都受东西方实力对比的制约,东西方实力对比的变化才是18世纪晚期西方中国观逆转的根本原因。

| Abstract: | Western history was full of praise for China's assessment,but in the late 18th century,Western view of China nosedived,from praise to contempt.The reasons:On the one hand,it was due to the increase of modern Western's understanding of China,Spying on the weaknesses of China's civilization itself,the mysterious disappearance of a sense of Chinese culture.On the other hand,modern Western ethnocentrism and the exclusivity closely related to the formation and Christian culture.Both were constrained by the strength of the East and West.East-West balance of power in the late 18th century was the fundamental reason of western view of China for a reversal. |
