| 摘 要： | 姓名的翻译历来有归化法和异化法两种方法。在译名时异化法更能忠实于原作,体现异域文化特色。但同时归化和异化是对立统一的,在必要时还要借助归化法。

| Abstract: | There are two common approaches used by translators in translation of names of persons, namely, foreignization and domestication. The paper uses many examples to prove the strategy of foreignization plays a leading role in translation of persons' names. However, domestication acts as a supplementary method. |
