中学数学教师素质的类型及其评价

摘    要:根据现代中学数学教师在教学中所表现出来的主要素质特征,可将现代中学数学教师划分为4个类型:表演型教师、应试型教师、学者型教师、竞赛型教师.表演型教师的特点是:联想丰富,表达能力强,课堂教学生动.应试型教师的特点是:课堂教学注重知识点的落实,注重题型的训练,注重公式定理的运用.学者型教师的特点是:善于研究,善于发现,善于探索,课堂教学常采用探究性的教学模式.竞赛型教师的特点是:解题能力强,认识问题深刻,思维跳跃性大,课堂教学粗糙.只有同时具有4种素质的复合型教师才能真正受到学校和社会的全方位好评.

Abstract:On the basis of their main teaching features, the present-day middle school mathematics teachers can be categorized into four types: performing type, exam-oriented type, intellectual type and competition-training one. The first type of teachers were so imaginative and expressive that their vivid classes were well welcomed by students. However, the exam-oriented teachers pay much attention to knowledge itself. The practice of the exam patterns and the mathematic theories are also of great importance. Making a detour was not their way, while coming straight to the point was their style. The intellectual teachers were committed to research, findings and explorations. With an interest in writing books, they had an outstanding reputation for their high-level research ability and explorative teaching style. While the last type, the competition-training teachers, had the advantages of problem-solving flair, an in-depth understanding and an analytical mind. Consequently, each type had its own strong points as well as its shortcomings. As a result a new type of compound teachers, who possessed the strong points of the previous pour, were highly demanding and will gain a wide range of recognition from the school side as well as the whole society.
