| 摘 要： | 最近几年大学英语教学发生了很大的变化,并存在一些问题。在这个基础之上,笔者探讨了大学的英语教学已经形成的模式与所面临的挑战:并且针对名校清华大学在外语教学改革中遇到的实际情况,提出了英语教学的指导思想——实用性,介绍了这个思想的主要特征以及实际的应用效果。
