| 摘 要： | 形容词的名词化现象乃当今英语词汇的发展倾向之一。这一现象共同存在于英汉两种语言之中，但其构成方式、句法功能及修辞特点则不尽相同。对比分析其异同，不仅有利于外语教学与翻译，也有助于语言交际。

| Abstract: | Observing the developement of contemporary English words,we notice that there is a tendency of the nominalization of adjectives.The phenomenon of the nominalization of adjectives exists in both English and Chinese,however,there are similarities and differences in its formation,syntactic function and rhetorical characteristics. A comparative study of the nominalization of English and Chinese adjectives is beneficial not only to the teaching of foreign languages and translation, but also to our language communication. |
