| Abstract: | Probability distribution of random variable is the basic concept in the probability and mathematical statistics teaching process.In general,a variety of probability distributions are described in isolation.To enable students to establish the relationship among commonly used probability distribution as well as between discrete and continuous random variable,this paper discussed the releationship among commonly used 6 discrete probability distribution and 11 continuous probability distribution.Houwen established the graph to describe the relationship among the commonly used probability distribution.Based on Hou's graph,this paper describes the relationship among the commonly used probability distribution from another perspective.On this basis,it establishs a new relationship chart and explains why.Some examples are furnished to the applications. |
