| 摘 要： | 景点(区)名称属于地点名称,但其作用与一般地名(行政区划名)并不完全相同。它不仅表示一一对应的地点存在,而且还蕴含了一定的历史、人文信息。在对景点名称翻译时,人们一方面应遵循“音译为主,适当意译,照顾通译”的地名翻译原则,另一方面更要注意文化信息的传递,以达到人们通过旅游进行交流的目的。

| Abstract: | The names of scenic spots should be translated in the light of the translation principle applied to the translation of toponymy. This paper points out that in addition to what is described as "mainly transliterating, sometimes translating for meaning, combined with interpreting", the translation of the names of scenic spots (areas) should express not only a one-to-one correspondence of a place, but should transform cultural information for the purpose of communication. |
