| Abstract: | To a certain degree the Secret Gang intervening in the 1911 Revolution in Shanghai exerted a notable impact on the final outcome of the Revolution. The course of the 1911 Revolution in Shanghai indicated that the Secret Gang had tremendous energy for activities and enormous capacity for maneuvers, whereas at the same time it could not be easily controlled by the bourgeois revolutionaries. |
