| 摘 要： | 顾拜旦复兴奥林匹克活动的本意,是想通过动员和组织人们参加体育运动,接受奥林匹克主义完善人生的教育,形成一支全球性的类似宗教性的社会力量,进而改造社会,这是一种实质上属于改良主义的社会理想和运动。由于种种矛盾,后来嬗变为一种世界性的竞技运动活动,即奥林匹克运动会,变成了建立和发展以竞争原则为指导的世界性统一大赛场的理论和实践。我们从其社会本意进行学术性的研讨,有助于对其本质、功能的认识,利于对策的抉择。

| Abstract: | The origenal meaning of Olympic is to give people the education of good life through the participation of the sports in order to form the religious social force in the world, which has the essence of reformism and social idealism. Because of various contradictions it has become a kind of international sports competition, that is the Olympic Games, an international competitional theory and practice. We are discussing it academically in the social significance which is helpful to know its essence and function and to decide the countermeasure. |
