| 摘 要： | 科技英语课程可以让英语专业的学生接触到最新的科技信息，学习到常用的及最新的科技词汇，为其扩大知识面提供了一条有利途径，为其就业拓宽了渠道，所以大部分院校英语专业都开设了科技英语课。但由于科技英语的特点，使其教学与其它课程不同；教学时应结合其特征和英语专业学生的基础知识使用相应的策略，才能达到较好的教学目的。

| Abstract: | The study of English for Science and Technology (EST) enables English majors to learn new words and updated messages in science field and thus broadens their horizon. So EST has become an indispensable subject for English majors in most colleges. But its unique characteristics require different teaching methods from other subjects. Based on English majors' knowledge of English and its characteristics , some effective teaching strategies may help to achieve more desirable results. |
