| Abstract: | As an outstanding modernist novelist,Sherwood Anderson,who gradually shifts his focus of creation from the objective world to the spiritual world,creates a new and unique art of fiction,and shows the direction for modern American fiction.The present article,with the focus on three dimensions,makes an analysis of Anderson＇s art of fiction,especially his art of short stories and its profound influence on the following generation of writers. |
