东汉皇帝宗庙礼制考论

摘    要:东汉初期,皇帝宗庙制度沿袭西汉中后期七庙制度。建武十九年庙议后,宗庙之制有所变革,表现为:变以往异庙之制为“同堂异室”之制;除殇、冲、质、灵四帝外,其余东汉诸帝庙皆谥以“祖”、“宗”庙号,宗庙毁庙礼制废而不行。直至东汉献帝时,在蔡邕建议下,重新实行皇帝宗庙立庙、毁庙礼制。

Abstract:During the early Eastern Han Dynasty the ritual system of emperors' ancestral temple (AT) mainly followed relevant systems of the Western Han. There occurred some changes after some discussions on the AT ritual system in the nineteenth year of the reign of Jian Wu, including substituting the system of "separate rooms in the same hall" for the separate hall system practiced before, and abolishing the AT disestablishment system. All emperors' temples of the Eastern Han were honored with the title of "Zu" or "Zong" except for those of emperors Shang, Chong, Zhi and Ling. The preceding AT ritual system was not resumed until Emperor Xian Di who adopted CAI Yong's suggestion.
