| 摘 要： | 广州是基督教新教人华第一站，在新教对华传教史上具有十分重要的地位。从1807年9月到1949年10月，新教在广州的传播经历了探索期、差会格局基本定型期、快速发展期、困难及短暂复员期等四个时期。新教在广州的传播特点表现为：以美国为背景的教会实力最强，医药文化传教手段并没有起到快速增加信徒的效果，利用福音船传教是以广州为代表的华南地区特有的传教手段和方式。

| Abstract: | As the place where Protestantism was first introduced in China,Guangzhou has occupied significant position in missionary history.From September 1807 to October 1949,the spreading of Protestantism in Guangzhou went through four periods:the exploration,the pattern of missionary societies making,the rapid development,the difficulty and temporary renewing.It found full expression in three aspects.First,the churches built by American missionary societies were the most powerful.Second,the medical and cultural missionary method had no effect on the fast increasing number of the believers.Third, Guangzhou was the representative of employing Gospel boat to preach,which was one of the special missionary methods in South China. |
