| Abstract: | Nine Chapters of Arithmetic is the core of Chinese ancient mathematics, forming the system of ancient China＇s elementary mathematics. It not only had far - reaching effects on the development of ancient mathematics, but also plays a significant role in promoting modern mathematics education. However, the features of the knowledge hierarchy in the book also have some restraining and nega- tive impacts on the development of modern mathematics. |
