| Abstract: | This paper attempts to explore interpretation of the novel Sense and Sensibility from the cognitive stylistic perspective. By applying text world theory and blending theory respectively, the tex- mar organization and plot progression will be discussed and interpreted accordingly. Furthermore, the author provides a preliminary and tentative study on the theoretical interaction between text world theo- ry and blending theory. |
