| Abstract: | From the historical perspective, this paper firstly focuses on some important events and policies of foreign languages education in America over the past decades. It indicated that the fundamental characteristic of American foreign languages policy is the orientation of national security, and that the appearance of any policy is a strategic response to its then national or international situation. Accordingly, under the current circumstances, the development and experiences of American foreign guages education policy in some aspects which can languages policy may inspire the formation of our foreign lanprovide some insightful ideas. |
