| 摘 要： | 在中国,教会大学萌发于19世纪80年代,在20世纪初得到初步发展。它从两个方面推动了中国现代高等教育的产生:一是它在客观上为中国现代高等教育的起步提供了一种模式;二是为中国现代高等教育的起步提供了一批管理人才和教学人才,他们的经验和学识在中国现代高等教育初创时期发挥过重要的作用。

| Abstract: | Christian colleges initially emerged in the 1880s and gradually grew up in the early twentieth century, which sped up the birth of the modern Chinese higher education in two aspects: one is to set up a model for the modern Chinese higher education,another is to provide a group of expert in administration and instruction. Their knowledge and experience, obtained from those colleges, have played an important role in the early stage of the modern Chinese higer education. |
