摘    要:高职英语课程是一门以职业为导向的课程,注重培养学生在未来工作岗位上运用英语完成工作任务的能力。当前高职院校存在学制短、学生基础薄弱的状况,造成英语课程偏重学生基础英语能力的培养,忽视职业英语能力的训练。本文以需求分析为基础,在语言学习和教学相关理论的指导下,融合基础英语和职业英语课程,探讨课程内容的融合、教学方法的选择、评估体系的完善诸多方面的问题,为开发具有职业特色的高职英语课程进行了有益尝试。

Abstract:Vocational English is a career-oriented course,focusing on students’ ability of applying English to complete their work tasks in the future work.At present,short educational system and students’ weak foundation exist in the current vocational colleges.This results that the English course emphasizes on the students’ basic English ability,ignores occupational English ability training.Based on the need analysis,the guidance of language learning and teaching theory,the fusion of general English and vocational English,integration of curriculum content,choice of teaching methods,improvement of the evaluation system etc.,this paper undertakes beneficial attempt as the development of vocational English course with occupational characteristic.
