强光束传输的非旁轴矢量自聚焦理论

摘    要:导出了非旁轴矢量传输方程,该方程明确了各修正项的物理意义;首次用变分法得到了任意初始条件下光束非旁轴传输的解析形式规律,与数值结果符合甚好。此外,基于得到的非旁轴矢量传输方程,用调制理论研究了非旁轴和矢量效应对光束自聚焦的影响,比较了各种效应的重要性,发现在自聚焦点附近,矢量效应的作用要强于非旁轴,其中矢量效应中来自电场散度项的非线性衍射的作用是最主要的。

Abstract:We derive a non-paraxial ve ct or equation clarifying every modification terms.We have,for the first time to ou r knowledge,obtained the analytical law for non-paraxial propagation for arbitr ary input beams using variational approach.The obtained results are in good agre ement with numerical simulations.Furthermore,we have investigated the roles of n on-paraxial and vectorial effects in self-focusing of very narrow beams by a m odulation theory.It is shown that both effects can arrest catastrophic collapse of the beam,leading to a periodic focusing-defocusing oscillation.For the aspec t of collapse arresting,the vectorial effect is dominant over the non-paraxial one;while in the vectorial effect,the contribution of the nonlinear diffraction is dominating.
