| 摘 要： | 自开商埠是清政府为杜绝外人觊觎，保全主权而开辟的一些口岸。在当时的历史条件下，自开商埠虽然无法扭转时局，但它对中国的民族经济和社会发展确实产生了积极的效果。自开商埠之一的武昌，对当地经济的发展也产生了不可低估的作用。
