| 摘 要： | 当前大学英语教学中存在诸多问题，如教学模式单一、课堂气氛不活跃、学生只注重考试而忽视实践能力的培养等，究其原因主要是由于四、六级统考的存在，而教材又在某种程度上阻碍了学生对于知识的扩充。就大学英语的现状和以全面提高学生能力为前提，阐述如何正确引导和鼓励学生充分利用课堂以外的课程资源，提高学习英语的兴趣。

| Abstract: | Nowadays there exist lots of problems in College English teaching, such as, the monotonous teaching model, the lifeless classroom atmosphere, students＂ emphasis on the CET and neglect the cultivation of the practical ability. The reason for the above phenomenon is the existing of the College English Test Band 4-6. Meanwhile the textbooks in some way are the ob- stacles to the student＇s extension of the practical knowledge. This essay states the author＇s own comments based on the existing conditions of College English and the development of the students＂ capability, that are how to direct and stimulate students to exploit the learning resources outside the textbooks to develop the interests in learning English. |
