摘    要:本文通过调查问卷、实验和课堂观察等主要研究方法,以交际教学思想的观点,采用交际教学法,设计了“3P”教学模式,设置交际活动和情景,来激发学生的动机,对比分析传统教学法和交际教学法的教学效果。结果显示:交际教学法能激发英语学习动机,动机的提高促使学习成功或成功的学习促使动机的提高,提高了学生的交际能力和英语成绩。由于实验的被试数量有限,缺乏统一的测试体系,实验结论还需在更大的范围内进行验证。

Abstract:Three methods, namely questionnaire, classroom observation and experiment are employed to collect relevant data in the research. CLT was used in the experimental class and "3P" modal was designed, while traditional method in the control class. The teaching material and the teacher were same. The scores, including listening comprehension, oral test and term scores, were compared separately. The data of the research were processed and discussed in detail. The results can prove the hypotheses. Conclusion draw from classroom observation shows that CLT is more effective to arouse students' motivation than traditional method. Communicative activities are the main characteristic of CLT. In the end some suggestions are given about how to encourage students' motivation and develop students' communicative competence and scores. The teacher should organize communicative activities to attract students and arouse their interest of English learning, then develop students' motivation to encourage autonomy. The subjects' number may not be large enough so the research may be continued and tested and verified. If more significant results are wanted to get, a larger scale research has to be done.
