| Abstract: | It is important for Non-English majors to take the course of specialized English in a university.Teaching of English for History majors is different from others.Based on the current problems,the present article proposes some countermeasures for improving the teaching quality of English for History majors.It is insisted that explicit orientation and objectives,rational curriculum and textbooks,qualified faculty,flexible teaching methods,and scientific evaluation system should be helpful to the improvement of the teaching quality of English for History majors. |
