| 摘 要： | 出于国内经济建设和解决台湾问题的需要，在国际形势许可的情况下，周恩来在中美关系冰冻的年代依然坚持了对美和平外交工作，同美国保持了十多年的官方对话关系，努力加强民间交流，增进了两国了解，为以后中美关系正常化奠定了基础。

Zhou En-Lai's Peaceful Foreign Policy towards the US in the 1950-60's |

| Abstract: | In the interest of economic development and the solution to the Taiwan issue and under the permissible international situations, late Premier Zhou En-lai insisted on a peaceful foreign policy towards the US in the years of the frozen Sino-US relations and had been in official contact with the US for more than ten years, and tried hard to increase the people's exchanges and promote the understanding between the Chinese people and the American people, thus laying a foundation for the normalization of Sino-US relations in the future. |
