| 摘 要： | 中国水墨画作为地球上创作与欣赏人数最多的一种区域性艺术，也是80年代以来未受西方艺术话语强权控制的中国本土艺术之一。该文就水墨画面向新世纪的发展问题，它的社会和艺术上的现代性问题作了探讨，指出现代水墨画应重新认识传统，借鉴现代西方绘画的先进理念，开创21世纪水墨画的未来。
