| 摘 要： | 亨利.詹姆斯在《专使》中推迟主人公专使使命结束的方式是通过句式结构形式和小说情节人物个性及主题内涵的巧妙结合实现的。可以说,《专使》的语言形式与所表达的内容之间存在着象似关系。这主要表现在使用圆周句、名词化结构、大量修饰语以及插入成分和疑问成分等来拉长句子形式从而来拖延时间及行动。

| Abstract: | The Ambassador,authored by Henry James,whose way that postponing completing the heroine's mission as an ambassador is realized by skillfully combining syntactical structure and its corresponding plot,character as well as the meaning intended to revealed.So to speak,there exists an iconic relationship between linguistic form and the content expressed to prolong the time and actions,which mainly embodying on such aspects as the employment of periodic sentences,nominalization,a lot of modifiers,parenthesis and interrogative elements. |
