| 摘 要： | Intel82559ER是在嵌入式系统中广泛使用的功能最为强大的快速以太网控制器之一,在网口数据流量很大,且CPU占用率不能过高的情况下,设计一个高效率的驱动程序显得尤为重要。本文基于VxWorks的软件平台和MPC8241CPU的硬件平台,提出一种新的Intel82559ER快速以太网控制器驱动程序设计方法,该方法将中断与查询相结合,既提高了网口处理数据包的能力,又避免了CPU占用率过高。

| Abstract: | The 82559ER is a fast Ethernet PCI controller that owns high performance networking functions which enables the 82559ER to be used as a network interface card in embedded system. In many case, a network interface card need to receive and transmit large number of data packets in a short time, moreover the cpu utility must be kept low. It is necessary to design a high efficient drive program. Based on the vxWorks system and MPC8241 CPU, a novel way of designing 82559ER driver program is presented. It not only enhances packets processing capabilities, but also avoid high CPU utility by combining interrupt with inquiring. |
