语境对大学英语听力和阅读教学的启示

摘    要:语言的使用离不开语境,语境在大学英语教学中具有不可低估的作用。然而,传统的大学英语教学往往忽视语境的重要作用,不利于学生语言综合运用能力的培养。鉴于此,本文将从语境理论出发,结合实例,从听力和阅读两个方面探讨语境对大学英语教学所发挥的启示作用。

On Revelations to College English Listening and Reading Teaching Brought about by Context

Abstract:Language use depends on context, which plays a considerable role on college English teaching. However, traditional college English teaching tends to ignore the important role of context, which is not beneficial for the cultivation of students' comprehensive language application ability. Considering it, the present paper will, from the perspective of context theory and the perspective of listening as well as reading, combining practical examples, discuss the revelations to college English teaching brought about by context.
