| 摘 要： | 世界上每个人都有自己的姓名。姓名与历史、文化有着密切的联系。本文从六个方面比较了英语和汉语的姓名，揭示了它们之间的异同。它们的共同之处，体现了人类的共性；不同之处则反映了两种不同的文化背景和历史。比较英汉姓名有助于中西方文化和历史的研究与交流。

| Abstract: | In the world everybody has a name, which connects closely with the culture and history of his country. This paper compares English names with Chinese names from six aspects and expounds their difference and similarity. The author thinks that the similarity shows the generality of human beings while the difference represents the history of two different cultures. Therefore, the study of English and Chinese names will help us to learn more about the western culture and history, which will benefit the exchange of two cultures. |
