| 摘 要： | 转态动词及其它终结动词的一般现在时不能用来表示现在时间发生的某个变化或结果；转态动词及其它终结动词的不定式形式与情态动词过去时的结合，不能用于虚拟语气主句表示对现在事态主观设想的结果。上述原则对各层次的英语教学都具有重要的指导意义。

| Abstract: | The simple present tense of transitional and conclusive verbs cannot be used to denote certain change brought about at present or consequence of the present time. Further, the combination of infinitive forms of transitional and conclusive verbs with the past tense of modal verbs cannot be used to express the assumption of clause in subjunctive mood. The above principles are instructively significant to the English teaching at various levels. |
