| Abstract: | Through detailed discussion on several pairs of critical concepts, such as me pure uterature and the ＂miscellaneous literature＂, ＂vernacular＂ and ＂Europeanized＂, ＂national language＂ and ＂national literature＂, etc. , this paper analyzes the complexity of Zhu Ziqing＇ s idea of modern Chinese literature, and relates it with the Chinese tradition of ＂poetry education＂, discusses the interactive relation between his ideas of ＂modem literature＂ and ＂modem education＂, thus to draw the outline of the historical construction from ＂literature of national language＂ to ＂literary national language＂ in Chinese modern literature. |
