| 摘 要： | 湖南近现代著名教育家杨昌济对湖南现代大学教育事业的发展作出了重要的贡献。其主要功绩是：他在20世纪之初就提出要发展湖南大学教育，第一个站出来呼吁创办湖南大学，对创办湖南大学的必要性与重要性作了严密科学的理论论证和充分的舆论准备，并对创办湖南大学的具体方案、经费、选址、方法与步骤都作了精心筹划。湖南大学正是在以杨昌济为代表的一大批社会贤达的呼吁、推动与共同努力下创办起来的。

| Abstract: | Yang Changji,one the distinguished modern educators,made a great contribution to the development of the cause of modern education in Hunan.He was the first person to appeal to the establishment of Hunan University.He made close,scientific and theoretical proof in the necessity and importance of the founding of Hunan University and made full preparations for public opinion.He also drew up concret plans to collect importance funds,choose the place and ways and steps for the foundation.It is because of a group of prominent personageo represewted by Yang Changji that Hunan University was able to be founded. |
