| 摘 要： | 英汉第二人称代词作为语言系统中必不可少的组成部分,既是特定文化的产物也是人际关系的文化符号。第二人称代词的使用可以显示言语交际双方的身份差距和亲疏有别。运用权势和同等关系原则,对英汉第二人称代词进行研究,发现同等关系对英语的影响占主导地位;而权势原则对汉语影响较大。然而,随着社会的发展和变迁,同等关系对汉语的影响力逐步加大。该研究能为跨文化交际的顺利进行提供一定的帮助。

| Abstract: | English and Chinese second personal pronouns, as an indispensable part of the language systems, are not only the product of the particular cultures but the cultural symbols of interpersonal relationships. Second person pronouns can display the sta- tus disparities and personal relationships between both sides in the verbal communication. Studying English and Chinese second per- sonal pronouns through power and solidarity, we find that English is more dominated by solidarity relation while Chinese is more in- flenced by power relation. However, with the development and change of the society, solidarity plays a more and more important role in Chinese second personal pronouns. The study can be of some value for cross - cultural communication. |
