| Abstract: | Both the Communist Party and the Kuomintang had the concept of fighting for the national independence, of advocating the unity of our motherland, of seeking to learn from the west to rejuvenate China and of supporting the fight against imperialism in the oppressed nations. These four aspects embodies the key spirit of patriotism, and lays the ideological foundation for the first cooperation between the Communist Party and the Kuomintang. This paper gives a probe into the above points. |
