| Abstract: | Confucius believes that human nature is common but practice make it different one from another and he discusses it profoundly. His basic idea about human nature is that goodness is inherited in human nature, which is demonstrated through all The Analects. His theory of human nature does not conflict with his idea of individual interest and desire. On the contrary, Confucius think human desire embodies his goodness in some sense. |
