| 摘 要： | 三线建设为今天的西部大开发提供了成功的经验：中央政府的战略指导和扶持。是西部开发的保证;基础建设是西部地区开发的重要条件;引进科学技术和培育科技人才是西部大开发的关键;决策者思想观念更新是西部大发展的重要前提。同时,也提供了可资借鉴的教训：不注意生态环境的保护,就会威胁经济的可持续发展;建设主体单一化,会束缚经济的发展;资金渠道的单一,成为经济发展的瓶颈;忽视地区特色经济,使经济缺乏增长点。

| Abstract: | From the successful experiences associated with the "Construction of the Third Front", several inferences can be made regarding the Development of China's Western Regions. First, the strategic guidance and support given by the central government will be the ultimate guarantee of the successful development of the western regions. Next, introduction and cultivation of advanced technology and talents should be the key link in developing the western regions. Lastly, updating the concept of decision-makers will be a prerequisite for the development of China's western regions. On the other hand, the negative lessons drawn from the "Construction of the Third Front" have enlightened us in three respects. First, disregard of environment protection will threaten the sustainability of the economy. Second, lack of diversification will lead to single source of investment, which will become a bottleneck in the economic development and thus limit it. Thirdly, overlooking the local-specific economy will strangle its potential for rapid growth. |
