摘    要:“指导发现法”是由教师设计、定向指导,让学生自己实验、观察、分析、假设和论证,并从中发现规律和建立概念的一种方法。根据英语教学改革提出的时代要求,文章对“指导发现法”的理论基础、特点、在英语教学中的实践以及教学时应注意的问题进行探讨,以提高英语课堂教学效果和学生学习效能。

Abstract:Guided Discovery Method is a teaching technique that encourages students to take a more active role in their learning process by answering a series of questions or solving problems designed to introduce a general concept,but the teacher provides hints and directions about how to solve the problem to keep the student on track.In the phase of English teaching innovation,some new teaching methods are addressed.This paper intends to make a study of the Guided Discovery Method,concerning its theory,features,application to English teaching and noted problems in the process of teaching,in order to achieve an effective teaching and learning environment.
