| Abstract: | The practice and the theory of translation have entered a vigorous development time since last century especially after the involvement of the relevance theory.According to relevance theory,translation is a process of double ostensive-inferential communication,which plays an important role in guiding the research of translation.It is a tentative research on application of ostensive-inferential model to translation practice in the article.To illustrate the guiding value of this model,the English version of Qian Zhongshu's Fortress Besieged is chosen for the case study. |
