| Abstract: | For the purpose of exploring the stress relaxation mechanism of springs,microstructures of B87C-6 compressed helical springs which have relaxed under cyclic load are investigated,and the conclusion is that thermally active motions of dislocations in high stress regions lead to the stress relaxation of spring.Then the cyclic stress relaxation performance is discussed according to the theory of thermal activation of dislocation. |
