英语专业学生词汇学习策略与产出性词汇量的关系研究

摘    要:文章运用定量分析的方法,调查了英语专业学生词汇学习策略及产出性词汇量的使用情况,分析了两者之间的相关性.结果发现学生的产出性词汇量以高频词为主,低频词也得到灵活运用.学生能够广泛使用多种策略,其中有九种策略与产出性词汇量存在明显正相关,一种策略与产出性词汇量存在明显负相关.本研究结果对英语专业的词汇教学具有一定的启发作用.

Abstract:This study investigated the vocabulary learning strategies and active vocabulary used by English majors and explored the relationship between them through quantitative analysis. The result indicated that the main active vocabularies of English majors are high frequency words and the low - frequency words can also be used freely. English majors employed various strategies in learning vocabulary. Nine strategies have significantly positive correlation with active vocabulary and only one strategy has negative correlation. The findings of this research project have some pedagogical implication to vocabulary teaching of English majors.
