| 摘 要： | This article analyses the current situation of college English teaching.It points out a problem that translation is neglected in our country's college English teaching.We emphasize the ability of listening,speaking,reading,and writing.At the same time,we also should make much account on translation.It can promote college English teaching.Accordingly,we should make full use of translation to promote college English teaching.The paper also puts forward a few pieces of suggestion on application of translation in college English teaching.
