摘    要:新世纪是科学技术高速发展的信息时代,也是经济创新和创新经济的知识经济时代;在市场经济条件下,我们为了增强竞争能力而加快与国际接轨,因此合格的外语人才须具备一定的外语优势。故如何提高外语课堂教学的效率,培养全面发展的人才是摆在外语教师面前的一项紧迫课题。英语是一门实践性很强的语言学习科目,有其自身特点、规律和标准。课堂上教师除了传授必要的理论和技巧之外,宜采用交际法教学,注重英语教学的实用性、趣味性、文化性,并借助多媒体计算机辅助教学,从而提高学生英语实际应用能力。

Abstract:The new century is an information era, in which science and technology are progressing at a high speed, and also the knowledge economy innovation change under the condition of a market economy. Our society quickening its connection with the outside world in order to raise its competitive power, so qualified talents should occupy a dominant position in foreign languages. How to increase the efficiency of English class teaching, and foster well-developed talents are the urgent subjects for teachers. The subject English is quite practical with its own features sand standards. During the class, teachers should pass on essential knowledge and skills; besides, they should better use communicative teaching approach, stressing on the pragmatism, interest and culture with the aid of the computer-assisted instruction, so we can improve the students' practical ability.
