| 摘 要： | "名"是先秦诸子关于语言问题探讨的重要方面,但对其确切含义和分类较为混乱。文章将"名"与西方哲学较有代表性的苏格拉底关于"概念"的思想进行比较,指出"名"不同于"概念",而应当是用来指称对象的"名称"。从"名"指称的对象种类的不同,可以分为"指物之名"和"喻道之名",分别指称形而下的物和形而上的道。
