| Abstract: | The redox properties of four para-substituted tetraphenylporphyrin carbonyl complexes of ruthenium(II) and carbonyl octakisethyl-porphyrinatoruthenium(II) have been investigated using electrochemical techniques.The standard rate constants of electron transfer of the five compounds have been obtained and the effects of substituents on the electrode reactions of the five porphyrin carbonyl complexes of ruthenium(II) have been disccussed. |
