| 摘 要： | 有关湖北的灾害研究，迄今涉及灾况或灾害造成影响的成果颇丰，但是对预防灾害措施的关注却不多见，本即以20世纪30年代湖北水灾预防的主要措施-兴修水利、植树造林为研究对象，考察其对传统防灾措施的继承与发展，并分析这些措施在当时历史条件下在防灾方面所起到 的作用及不足。
