| Abstract: | Qu Dajun's poetry occupied an outstanding position in the poetic arena of China during the period from the end of the Ming dynasty and the beginning of the Qing dynasty. His poems reflected his sorrow and mourning of the nation and family's being subjugated, and declared his firm standpoint in resisting the Qing invaders. With condensed feelings, metaphor style and strong nationalist consciousness, his poems demonstrate both cognitional and aesthetic values. |
