| Abstract: | ??The article is an elementary investigation and staterment on the research in library reference work in China from 1988 to 1994.It also sets forth the problems including the deficiency of theoretical research.the shortage of fac-finding data,the backwardness of research methods and means, and the weakness of subject development,and prospects the tendencies of synthesizing in consulting contents,industrializing inreference service,networking in consulting systems and modernizing in consulting methods and means. |
